Windy, wild weather

Winter has been windy and rainy this year with just a pinch of snow. Still two more months (maybe three, ya never know how April will turn out) to go but what a mild winter we have had this year.

This morning I watched my Yoga Booty Ballet tape. Yes I said watched! ;-) I bought it nine months ago at 3am. One of my "get skinny QUICK" ideas. I did the instructional part three or four times last year but never did the tape. So today I popped it in. The girls were running around and I wanted to see if I could substitue it for my treadmill today. (my arch is sore on my foot and I have a few blisters and wanted to give my feet a rest but still workout)
I went along with the begining. It moves you so well. I was sweating a bit thinking, yeah ! Then they stop and say, good job on the warm up! HAhahahahahahahahahahaha
Oh crap.
I did do about five minutes of the next section. It was the ballet part. I really LOVE this workout as it is so girly and graceful. I am hoping it makes me a little less cloddhopperish (I feel like shrek at the moment)
Chloe was so cute as she was doing it with me as well. She can really lift her little two year old legs!! I might have to look into ballet for her!
Anyway, I had to stop because both of the girls were starting to get restless. I didn't do it in the end during their nap time.
I did the treadmill. I felt like if I stopped doing my routine then I would somehow stop doing it altogether. Like I would be jinxing myself or something. Livy woke up during my time. I only did 45 minutes. I still feel good about it. I was a bit bummed as around 35 minutes is when I decide yes I can do 60 minutes and really get moving and challenge myself. The first 30 minutes are usually like this:
I put the Ipod over the minutes so I don't actually know how long it has been. (even tho there is a clock on the Ipod and I know what time I have started, o such mind games!!)

"8 minutes, what do you mean 8 minutes. Why are my shins burning. My blister is rubbing against my sneaker. Oh I think it may have popped. Oh this is a good song. (turning up the mph on the treadmill) What do YOU mean it's only been 14 minutes.(turning down the mph) Oh if I make it to 30 minutes then I'll get off. Shit, 25:33 WTF, I feel like I have been on here for ages. My feet are burning, I am so sore. I can't wiggle my toes. My feet are stiff. I can feel the blisters getting bigger. Oh, 35 minutes. I can get to 45. Turn up music, crank mph. Kick ass. Then it's 48 minutes, once more fast song and then I will do the cool down. What? It's 58 mins? I have just started my cool down. and I end up going for another 5-10 minutes."

I get off of the treadmill and take my sneakers off and my feet are like stiff as flat wood boards!! I have very flat feet, so I have trouble finding good supportive sneakers. I sometimes put in a support but I don't have any right now. I might have a look for some tonight.

PROGRESS:

I said to Craig last night as we went to sleep. " Hey do you think my ass feels any tighter?"

In an irritated, c'mon give me a break kind of way MF'er said,
"Heather, It's only been a week."

Thanks sweetie. So supportive. "thumbs up"

Lololololololol

Have a great day!!!
